Stamped concrete is cost effective, durable, and beautiful. Its popularity has grown to unprecedented heights. There is an unlimited number of textures, patterns, designs, and colors available to choose from!
There is always room for creativity, allowing home or business owners to invent their own design or pattern. However, the top three designs are:
- Hand-carved stone
- Slate
- Random flagstone, also called “seamless mat”
We can finish the cement in several ways with a round, smooth, or stained texture. You can choose to let the surface shiny and flat or have a special pattern engraved into it.
Hotels use this kind of flooring to give their floors the appearance of marble or granite. Choose colors and patterns that make the floor match the rest of the interior décor and design.
What are the benefits of using cement as a patio material?
- Using stamped concrete for your porch will come out cheaper than using wooden planks or ceramic tiles.
- You will not be using wooden materials from trees to build your porch, making it an environmentally friendly choice.
- Cement is easier to maintain than porches or patios built with wood.
Wood tends to deteriorate over time and can get infested with pests like termites if not treated beforehand. Wooden planks need to be painted and repainted several times. Once wood deteriorates, it needs replaced with new planks. Cement is durable and can last several decades. It makes a tough surface and does not require much maintenance. It resists stains, repels liquid, and will not need replaced like wood that warps or sustains water damage. You can get your money’s worth working with this kind of material for an outdoor space. - Cement floors and walls for outdoor porches are durable and can withstand weather such as rain, snow, and heat.

What Is the Difference Between Stamped Concrete and Stamped Overlay?
Although the stamping process is the same for both, stamped concrete is done on an entirely new slab while stamped overlay involves an overlay on an old slab.
A stamped overlay is a combination of Portland cement, silica sand, cementitious hardeners, and adhesives installed on existing concrete patios, pool decks, or driveways. We offer a variety of styles, patterns, and colors to finish the overlay and achieve a decorative concrete look.
